  • Let your nominees know you’ve nominated them.
  • Post 7 facts about you.Β
  1. It’s my 18th birthday on the 15th July.Β So if anyone reading this would like to send me some presents that would be nice πŸ˜›
  2. I love my pajamas. If it was socially acceptable to wear pajamas outside then I would. As soon as I get home I instantly get changed into them and if I don’t have to go outside, I will wear them the whole day. They’re just too comfy!
  3. Pink lemonade is my favourite drink. Where I live pink lemonade isn’t sold in shops, so it’s really rare for me to get hold of some. Whenever I see it I will buy it, which has often led to me carrying around multiple giant bottles of pink lemonade whilst shopping. But it’s worth it!
  4. I have a massive family. A lot of people say that, but seriously my family is huge! I have 12 aunts and uncles, and I have around 50 cousins (including 1st, 2nd, 3rd etc.)! Last time we counted it was at 53 cousins but at least 3 of those cousins are pregnant so it could be much more now! This means that we’ll go to at least one wedding, at least two christenings, and countless parties each year πŸ™‚
  5. I can’t donate blood. I tried to donate blood and I was fine until about 10 minutes in. Then I started feeling dizzy and sick. I stupidly tried to stop them taking the needle out of me and ended up falling onto the floor like a starfish 😦 It was definitely not my finest moment! The head nurse there said that I was pretty much banned from giving blood as my body couldn’t handle it, which sucks. But if any of you are over 17 and are thinking of giving blood, please do! It doesn’t hurt, just a teeny scratch and then you just lie there for 15 minutes. Then, free food! And that 15 minutes could potentially save someone’s life.
  6. I can pick locks. I don’t think many people know this because a lot of people get freaked out by me, a petite blonde girl, being able to pick locks. But I think it’s an amazing skill to have! I’ve never had to use itΒ in an emergency,Β but if the situation comes up I’m going to look like a badass πŸ˜›
  7. I’m clumsy. Sometimes my brain and my body don’t talk to each other. So I’ll walk into closed doors, trip over thin air, and knock over things on a daily basis. This means I am constantly covered in bruises and cuts, but so far I’ve managed to avoid any broken bones πŸ™‚

Thank you so much for the nomination, and thank you for reading πŸ™‚

Brotherhood Of The World Bloggers Award!

I want to say a huge thank you to Ashish KumarΒ for nominating me for this award!!

Here’s the rules…

  • Thank and link back to the person who nominated you for the award.Β Thank you so much, you’re awesome!
  • List the Rules and Display the Brotherhood of the world Award logo to your post and/or blog.
  • Answer the questions set to you.Β
  1. What kind of person you are. Introvert, extrovert or ambivert?Β I am such an introvert! I like my room and I like to stay there πŸ˜›
  2. Who is your source of inspiration?Β I get inspiration from everyone around me, but I think my parents and my boyfriend are my main sources of inspiration. My parents have four jobs between them, yet they still find time to spend with me and my brother. They’ve taught me to work hard, and to repsect people and I couldn’t ask for better role models. My boyfriend and I have been through a lot, a lot more than any teenager should go through. Yet he’s still such a strong and truly happy person and I love him for always being there for me (sorry this is so cheesy!).
  3. The most happiest moment of your life.Β I have had so many “perfect” moments but these are my top two that I can remember. The first day I met my boyfriend, it was just so perfect and I knew that I wanted to get to know him better. He walked me to my dad’s car and as we drove home the sun was setting and my favourite song was playing. My second was getting my scholarship into university. I don’t come from a wealthy family so I would have had to get a job during university, but now I can focus on getting the top grades and I am so proud of myself!
  4. What legacy would you like to leave?Β I want people to remember me as being happy and good. I try to make people smile, and to help as many people as possible and I would love to be remembered for this.
  5. What is your most beautiful imagination so far? This is a tough question, and I’m not really sure how to answer it. I have beautiful thoughts about everything, and I see the world in the most beautiful way πŸ™‚
  6. What is your favourite quote?Β I’m a big quote lover so this is one of my favourites: “If there ever comes a day when we can’t be together, keep me in your heart, I’ll stay there forever” – Winnie The Pooh. I think this quote is so cute, and even though everyone reading this has lost someone they love as long as we think of them and remember our love for them they’re never gone.
  7. What are your hobbies other than blogging? There’s a world outside blogging?! But seriously I love running (although I am incredibly slow), and I enjoy reading, and rollerskating has always been something I’ve loved πŸ™‚
  • Nominate around ten other bloggers and let them know about the award.Β Since the majority of people I nominate for awards are female, and since this is the “Brotherhood” Award I’m going to nominate male bloggers for this award.
  1. Stuff Things And Opinions
  2. Matthew Tome
  3. Redefining Random
  4. Guarav Chaplot
  5. Bubbakavangha
  • Β Create your set of questions for your nominees.
  1. What makes you smile, no matter what?
  2. Do you have any nicknames, and if you do how did you get them?
  3. How was your day today?
  4. What was the last movie you watched and what did you think of it?
  5. What sounds can you hear right now?
  6. What is the best compliment you’ve ever got?
  7. What’s your favourite song?

Thank you again for the nomination, and thank you for reading!

Sisterhood of the World Bloggers Award!

Thank you so much to Drifting Lexi for nominating me for this award!! If you haven’t checked out her blog, you need to because she’s awesome!

Here’s the rules…

  • Thank and link the blogger who nominated you.Β A massive thank you to Drifting Lexi!!
  • Answer the questions the nominator has provided.
  1. What makes you motivated to blog? My followers. Hearing from others who are going through the same things I am, and having people tell me my posts make them smile or have helped them makes me want to blog. Plus, I love it! I love interacting with people of all ages, races, sexualities, genders, and religions πŸ™‚
  2. What’s your favourite thing to write about on your blog? I write about so much on my blog, so this is a really hard question! I like writing about things that I’m passionate about, like mental health and human rights etc.
  3. What is your favourite food? I’m such a boring person when it comes to food! I like really bland flavours, so if I cook myself pasta I’ll just have pasta by itself and I can’t eat anything remotely spicy. So this is going to sound really stupid but my favourite food is sweet and salted popcorn. I could eat that for the rest of my life and be happy πŸ˜›
  4. If you had to pick a favourite book, what would it be? Nope. Can’t do it. I love so many books. A book that I’m loving right now though is All The Bright Places by Jennifer Niven. It’s amazing, and I won’t spoil it but I would definitely recommend it!
  5. What was the last song you listened to? I worked last night (I deliver Chinese takeaway with my dad) so we had our favourite Fall Out Boy album on and we were singing to that! The last song I remember was Yule Shoot Your Eye Out, because who doesn’t like singing along to Christmas songs with their dad in the middle of June?
  6. What items are closest to you at this moment? Well my butt is on this incredibly uncomfortable chair, my elbows are on my dining room table (naughty), and my fingers (yup all 10 because that’s how I roll) are on my keyboard. Then all around me I have my junk that I’ve managed to spread all around me, like tons of post-it-notes, all my notes and resources for my tutoring lessons, and my mouse which I have to use because the touchpad on my computer refuses to work 😦
  7. Do you have any tattoos? No, I’m a giant wimp so I doubt I could last through a whole tattoo. Plus, I’m so indecisive I could never decide what i want to be permanently etched into my skin forever!
  8. What are you currently reading? Oops, I already answered this question- All The Bright Places by Jennifer Niven πŸ™‚
  9. Do you prefer going to shops and buying items or do you prefer to shop online? I like going to shops. I like going to charity shops in particular, because some of the stuff I’ve bought there is amazing! But I don’t really shop very often because I still feel really self-conscious and I get very nervous being in large crowds 😦
  10. What are you next looking forward to? Well, my 18th birthday is in just over 2 weeks so that’s pretty cool! I don’t have anything planned, so I think I’m just going to hang out with my family and boyfriend. And it’s my boyfriend’s 20th birthday in just under two weeks and I’m so excited to go shopping with him! I’ve saved up Β£100 to take him on a shopping spree (he doesn’t know this yet) but he hasn’t been able to buy new clothes in a year because money is pretty tight so I’m giving him Β£100 to spend on whatever he wants, it’s going to be amazing!
  • Nominate 10 other bloggers. I’m going to try and find some amazing bloggers who haven’t already been nominated, but I think there are hundreds of bloggers I follow that deserve this award!

Very Inspiring Blogger Award!

Thank you to the wonderful This Is My User for nominating me for this award!! Now I know I got this award a couple of weeks ago as well, but this one has different questions and I love talking about myself so I’m doing it πŸ™‚

Here’s the rules…

  • Thank the person who nominated you. Thank you, you are fabulous and everyone should go check her blog out!
  • Add the logo to your post. Here you go…

  • Nominate 10 other bloggers you think are inspiring. I’m going to try and find some who may not have been nominated for this award before, but in all honesty I think there are so many inspiring bloggers out there this is going to be hard!
  1. Ashish-VisionΒ
  2. Drifting Lexi
  3. Sixteen Years Young
  4. Life Of An Indian Teenager
  5. Someone To Lean On
  6. I Prefer Deep Blues And Sea Foam Greens
  7. Kelsee727
  8. Phantom Mermaid
  9. Vmhtx
  10. Tea Toast And Telly
  • Answer the questions given to you.
  1. Why do you think I chose you? Well I think you may have gone a bit loopy, and for some reason you consider my ramblings to be inspiring πŸ˜› But honestly, thank you. Every time someone likes my posts, takes the time to comment, and follows me it makes me so happy. So, thank you.
  2. What’s your secret hobby? It’s not really a secret but rollerskating. If I go skating with someone for the first time I do tell them that I’ve been skating for a little while, but no one expects me (the clumsiest and most unbalanced person on Earth) to be as good as I am. This is the one thing that I love to shove in people’s faces, and I know that sounds arrogant, but it took me 5 years just to be able to skate without falling down, and it’s taken another 5 years on top to perfect my tricks so I think I deserve to brag a little πŸ˜›
  3. What makes you smile no matter how sad you are? I’m generally quite a happy person, but one thing that always makes me happy are trampolines. Nobody can be sad on a trampoline!Β
  4. What’s the most important piece of advice you can give? Seriously be yourself, and yes I know that’s so predictable but it’s true! If you pretend to be something you’re not then you’re going to live your life being unhappy.
  5. How do you try and inspire others? I try to be a good person. I try to spread love and smile at everyone I meet because one day there will be someone who really needed it, and who knows maybe it’ll change their life. At the very least I won’t make their life worse by being positive.
  • Give 5 new questions for your nominees to answer.
  1. How are you feeling right now?
  2. What is your earliest memory?
  3. Describe yourself using one word. Why did you choose that word?
  4. Who was the last person you spoke to, and what were you talking about?
  5. Why did you start a blog?

Thank you again for the nomination and thank you for reading x

The Real Neat Blog Award

Firstly, I didn’t even know this award existed until a couple of days ago and I think it’s got such a cute name πŸ™‚ Secondly, a big smushy hug and kiss for My Teenage Madness for nominating me for this award, and you should go check out her blog because it’s amazing πŸ™‚

Here’s the rules…

  • Thank the person who nominated you. Thank you!!
  • Answer the following questions.
  1. What was the last book you read? It was actually a children’s book called The Graveyard Book by Neil Gaiman. I had to read it because I’m planning some tutoring lessons around it and I figured I should probably know what I’m talking about (not that I do 99% of the time) πŸ˜›
  2. The last song you listened to? This Song Saved My Life, by Simple Plan. It’s one of my favourites and has a lot of good memories attached to it πŸ™‚
  3. If you could be anyone else for a week, who would you be? Jennifer Lawrence. Firstly she’s gorgeous so that would be a plus! And she just seems so down to Earth and funny, and she’s probably one of my favourite celebrities.
  4. What’s your biggest wish? That’s tough! I guess I want to be happy, wherever I end up in life I want to be happy there and surrounded by the people I love. (Sorry, that’s so mushy!)
  5. What’s your best piece of general advice? Just be yourself. Ugh, that’s so cliche I know, but it’s true. I spent the majority of my time growing up trying to blend into the background. But then I realised that I liked wearing colourful wristbands and neon converse, and I liked wearing a moose hat. So I did, and I think I started to realise that it’s okay to be weird and so I surrounded myself with weirdo’s and it was amazing πŸ™‚

  6. What’s that thing you’ve been putting off for ages? Shopping! I need pretty much an entire new wardrobe because I dropped from a size 16 to 12 so a lot of my clothes are so baggy and falling off. I didn’t realise how much weight you can actually lose if you stop eating Chinese takeaway 3 nights a week and you start exercising every so often. So I was a little bit surprised when I put on a size 16 dress and it was too big, like wtf happened to my body?! I have curves! I’ve been putting it off for so long because I still felt really chubby and I used to hate shopping because a lot of places didn’t stock my size πŸ˜₯ So I think it’s going to take me a little while to get used to this!
  7. What is the piece of clothing you wear the most? My dressing gown, because I’m a lazy monkey and live in my pyjamas πŸ™‚
  8. What’s one thing you can’t live without? My converse. I wear them pretty much anywhere and everywhere. But I need to be able to run away, I mean what if there’s a zombie apocalypse? You’re not going to get very far in your stiletto’s. Seriously though, I need to be able to quickly escape at any time. I’m not really sure why, but whenever I get into a room I scope out any potential exits, and I’ll plan what to do if one of those exits are blocked. I am always ready to run if I need to. If there’s any psychologists out there, am I crazy?
  9. Eyeshadow or Eye liner? I don’t actually wear makeup. Don’t get me wrong, I’m totally not against people wearing it, it’s just personally I don’t. The main reasons are that I’m too lazy and too poor πŸ˜›
  10. Favourite way to spend a Saturday? Well, I usually work Saturday night from 5:30-10:30pm so I’d be pretty happy if I didn’t have to work! But I’d love to spend time with my boyfriend. Maybe he could cook me homemade pizza and we’ll watch Game of Thrones together? That would be nice πŸ™‚
  • Nominate Β five other bloggers.
  1. A Girl With ADHD
  2. Paradoxical Sadness
  3. Everything And Nothing
  4. My Overflowing Thoughts
  5. My Irrelevant Thoughts

Thanks again for nominating me, and thanks for reading x

Questions for my boyfriend.

I saw lots of people on here and on YouTube doing ‘The Boyfriend Tag’, and I thought I’d do something similar. I answered the questions first without seeing his answers, then sent them to Kyle and we’ll see how our answers match up πŸ™‚ So here we go…

Where did we meet?

Kyle: We first met at college, but we come to know each other from a college trip to do a train crash simulation and then I asked you on a date the day after xx

Me: We first saw spoke to each other in a hallway outside a classroom. He bragged about having a motorbike! But then we had to go into our classes so I never got his name. A few months later we were on a college trip where we had to pretend to be in a train crash so the emergency services could practice saving us. So, the first time I spoke to him properly we were both covered in blood, surrounded by people screaming and firemen knocking down the doors, smoke everywhere, and there Kyle was sitting next to me making cheesy jokes πŸ™‚

  • Where was our first date?

Kyle: At the cinema, we “watched” Ride Along.

Me: We went to the cinema to watch a movie called Ride Along. Kyle was so nervous (but he says he wasn’t)!

  • Where was our first kiss and how was it?

Kyle: It was on our first date and it was lovely πŸ™‚ But we kissed so much I missed all of the movie 😦

Me: It was in the cinema and I was ridiculously nervous. It was so sweet (or maybe that was the popcorn)!

  • What was your first impression of me?

Kyle: A cute and talented woman. I wanted to get to know you better.

Me: What a dork! But he was cute and he always had a big smile on his face πŸ™‚

  • Who said “I love you” first and where were we?

Kyle: IΒ Β think is was a month after we started dating that we started say we love each other, but I don’t remember when it actually started. I said it but I wasn’t sure if you felt the same way. Until I rang you on That Day when you were upset, and then we said it to each other. That was when I knew we both meant it.

Me: Uh oh, I can’t remember! I think Kyle actually texted me it first and I didn’t say it back! I feel bad, but I didn’t want to lie to him and I wasn’t sure how I felt. But then something bad happened to me, and he called me up at the perfect time. We were on the phone for ages and he was so good, I knew then that I loved him and I think that was the first time I said it back.

  • What do we argue about most?

Kyle: The small things that don’t matter.

Me: I think most of the arguments are my fault! (Don’t tell Kyle that!) Because Kyle’s quite an immature person, which isn’t a bad thing, but I’m a really mature person so sometimes our personalities clash. Plus, I’m such an emotional person that when I feel something it’s so overwhelming that I tend to overreact.

  • What do I do that you don’t like?

Kyle: When we play any board game and you start to lose you try to throw it off the table, or state that every one else is cheating.

Me: Oh no. I think he’ll probably say when I take his phone when he’s not looking and take selfies. I once managed to get up to 345 selfies, which he then had to go through and delete. Oops, sorry 😦 *EDIT: I’ve just seen what he put and okay I do that. I am the most competitive person at board games, and it got so bad that everyone refuses to play with me 😦 I’m sorry Kyle!

  • What do you love most about me?

Kyle: Your eyes, your smile, your fun personality, how strong, kind and caring you are, and that you work and fight so hard to be and do what you want to do xx

Me: If he says my butt I will not be impressed! *EDIT: Aw, okay I love this guy x

  • What is your favourite memory of us?

Kyle: When we went on our first holiday together to Canvey Island. It was our first time away, and it was my home where I grew up. I got to show you all the reasons why I love it, and I’m glad the first time you went there you were with me.

Me: Probably when we were round his dad’s place. We were sitting in front of the fire (an actual fire!) and we were wrapped up in a blanket. It was so romantic and we just talked and laughed, and I knew I loved you so much.

And that’s it. I loved doing this, and I think I got to know him a little bit better. Now I just want to give him a giant hug! Thank you for reading x
