The Love/Hate Challenge!

Thank you so much Swatii for the nomination!

Here’s the rules…

  • Write down 10 things you love.
  1. My boyfriend. He’s a massive dork, but I love him anyway πŸ˜›
  2. Pink Lemonade. I got some for my birthday and it’s fabulous!
  3. Daisy’s. They’re my favourite flower, and they’re just so summery and bright and beautiful, I love it!
  4. Blogging. I’ve met some amazing people, and I love knowing that people are listening to me πŸ™‚
  5. My family. They’re all so busy but they always find time to support me and I think they’re all wonderful people.
  6. Science. I find it all so fascinating! We have eradicated diseases that have killed millions, we can survive in outer space, and we have the potential to do so much more!
  7. Hugs. It takes me forever to trust someone enough to hug them, but I love getting hugs so much πŸ™‚
  8. Kisses on the forehead. Aren’t they just the sweetest thing?!
  9. Rollerskating. It’s the only sport I’m actually good at!
  10. You. Seriously, everyone who likes, comments, and follows make me smile πŸ™‚
  • Write down 10 things you hate.Β
  1. Calling people on the phone. I hate it. I get all nervous, but unfortunately I am now an adult and need to sort out my own business.
  2. Confrontation. I can’t handle people yelling at me or being angry at me, it makes me feel sick and I just think there are better ways to deal with problems.
  3. Being hungry. I am constantly hungry. All. The. Frickin. Time. Which means I have to have super self-control to stop eating otherwise I will continue eating until I’m sick.
  4. Meeting new people. I get so scared and I feel like I’m going to mess up.
  5. Funerals. I’ve never been to a funeral. Sometimes I feel guilty, but at least my memories of that person were when they were alive and happy, not when they were in a box in the ground.
  6. Rude customers. After working in the food industry for two years, I have met a lot of rude customers. Here’s the deal. If you have a genuine complaint, please tell us politely and we have no problem sorting it out. However, it is never okay to throw your food at me, throw money in my face, or come to the door naked. Sometimes I hate delivering Chinese food 😦
  7. Cold tea. There’s nothing worse than a cup of tea going cold 😦
  8. Shaving. I hate shaving, but I love having smooth legs. Do you see my problem?!
  9. Ironing. This is one of the chores I have to do, and I hate it! It’s so boring and takes so long 😦
  10. Feeling sad for no reason. This often happens to me, I’m not sure why but some days I wake up and I just feel sad.
  • Nominate other bloggers. I’m going to chose 10 because I think that’s a nice number πŸ™‚
  1. The Introvert
  2. Crazygrrl123
  3. Only I, Know The True Me
  4. Transcend
  5. Baby Steps 22
  6. 21 And Sensory

  8. Sophie Speaks Up
  9. Dainty Delusions
  10. Vintage x Smiles

Thanks again for the nomination, and thank you for reading πŸ™‚

Starlight Blogger Award!

Thank you so much to 21 And Sensory and Ask A Teenage Aspie for nominating me for this award! These are two amazing bloggers and you should definitely go check out their blogs!

Here’s the rules:

  • Thank the giver and link their blog to your post.Β Thank you so much!
  • Include the logo of the award in a post or on your blog please never alter the logo and never change the rules.Β
  • Answer the 3 questions given to you.

21 And Sensory’s Questions…

  1. What would you say has been the best day of your life so far?Β This is a really difficult question! The first thing that comes to mind is the day I met my boyfriend. It was just a perfect day. I’d met this amazing guy, had tons of fun singing and goofing off with him and his friends. The sun was setting perfectly and my favourite song was playing on the radio- it was like a movie! Another amazing day was when I got the email saying I’d been offered a scholarship to University. I knew I’d struggle to pay for University and I would have to work almost full time to support myself, but then I managed to get an Academic Excellence Scholarship and now I don’t have to work!
  2. If you had to describe yourself in 5 words what words would you choose?Β Optimistic, hopeful, intelligent, happy, and kind. πŸ™‚
  3. If you were stuck on a desert island and were allowed only 3 items and one person with you what items and which person would you choose?Β I would take my glasses because without them I can’t see my hand in front of my face, so I’d probably fall into the sea or get eaten by a crocodile without them! I would then take one of my boyfriend’s dogs. Specifically, I’d take Fuzzy Bear the German Sheppard because he’s so fluffy and cute so it would help keep me happy and motivated, but when he grows up he could be used to hunt for food and I could ride him around the island πŸ˜› I’d also take my blanket because it’s so warm and safe. The person I’d take would be my boyfriend because he knows how to survive outdoors, plus he’d be cool to talk to and he’d be a source of entertainment πŸ˜›

Ask A Teenage Aspie’s Questions…

  1. What song/songs do you listen to to inspire you when you feel down?Β My favourite one is This Song Saved My Life by Simple Plan. I’ve mentioned this a few times, but basically my boyfriend played it for me one day when I was very upset. He’s autistic so sometimes it’s difficult for him to know how to comfort me, but this song let me know how he felt and it was so sweet πŸ™‚
  2. What importance does blogging hold for you?Β Blogging has become very important to me. In the real world I’m very quiet. I’m the sort of girl that is friends with everyone but I’m completely unremarkable, I have so many ideas and thoughts but I don’t speak very much and sometimes that makes me feel like I’m invisible. So, every like and follow and comment on this blog helps to remind me that I exist and that there are people who want to listen to me. So thank you.
  3. Where was the most amazing place you’ve ever been?Β The Natural History Museum in London. It’s beautiful.
  • Please pass the award on to 6 or more other bloggers of your choice and let them know that they have been nominated by you.Β This Award is created to highlight and promote Inspiring Bloggers. Β I know so many inspiring bloggers, so I wrote a list of all the people I found inspiring and my boyfriend picked 6.
  1. Asil And The Keyboard
  2. Trials And Tribulations of High School
  3. Rose Annon
  4. AKIRAA
  5. Swatii
  6. Lou M
  • Give your nominees 3 questions to answer.
  1. What’s your favourite post you’ve ever written and why?
  2. What is your favourite song and why?
  3. What’s your favourite animal and why?

Thank you so much for the nomination, and thank you for reading πŸ™‚

Dragon’s Loyalty Award!

Here’s the rules:

  • Put the award logo in your post. Done!
  • Thank the person who nominated you and put a link to their blog. Thank you so much, you are amazing!
  • Nominate 15 other bloggers. I am following some amazing bloggers, but these are some of the people who regularly get involved in my blog…
  1. The Crazy Perfectionist
  2. Elm
  3. Desire To Express
  4. A Teenage Diary Online
  5. Life Of A 17 Year Old Indian
  6. Everything And Nothing
  7. Drifting Lexi
  8. Under The Guise Of Glitter
  9. Transcend
  10. Mythical Stars
  11. Ask A Teenage Aspie
  12. Deviant Daydream
  13. My Overflowing Thoughts
  14. Alex Konst
  15. Lost In The World Of Blogging
  • Let your nominees know you’ve nominated them.
  • Post 7 facts about you.Β
  1. It’s my 18th birthday on the 15th July.Β So if anyone reading this would like to send me some presents that would be nice πŸ˜›
  2. I love my pajamas. If it was socially acceptable to wear pajamas outside then I would. As soon as I get home I instantly get changed into them and if I don’t have to go outside, I will wear them the whole day. They’re just too comfy!
  3. Pink lemonade is my favourite drink. Where I live pink lemonade isn’t sold in shops, so it’s really rare for me to get hold of some. Whenever I see it I will buy it, which has often led to me carrying around multiple giant bottles of pink lemonade whilst shopping. But it’s worth it!
  4. I have a massive family. A lot of people say that, but seriously my family is huge! I have 12 aunts and uncles, and I have around 50 cousins (including 1st, 2nd, 3rd etc.)! Last time we counted it was at 53 cousins but at least 3 of those cousins are pregnant so it could be much more now! This means that we’ll go to at least one wedding, at least two christenings, and countless parties each year πŸ™‚
  5. I can’t donate blood. I tried to donate blood and I was fine until about 10 minutes in. Then I started feeling dizzy and sick. I stupidly tried to stop them taking the needle out of me and ended up falling onto the floor like a starfish 😦 It was definitely not my finest moment! The head nurse there said that I was pretty much banned from giving blood as my body couldn’t handle it, which sucks. But if any of you are over 17 and are thinking of giving blood, please do! It doesn’t hurt, just a teeny scratch and then you just lie there for 15 minutes. Then, free food! And that 15 minutes could potentially save someone’s life.
  6. I can pick locks. I don’t think many people know this because a lot of people get freaked out by me, a petite blonde girl, being able to pick locks. But I think it’s an amazing skill to have! I’ve never had to use itΒ in an emergency,Β but if the situation comes up I’m going to look like a badass πŸ˜›
  7. I’m clumsy. Sometimes my brain and my body don’t talk to each other. So I’ll walk into closed doors, trip over thin air, and knock over things on a daily basis. This means I am constantly covered in bruises and cuts, but so far I’ve managed to avoid any broken bones πŸ™‚

Thank you so much for the nomination, and thank you for reading πŸ™‚

Three Day Quote Challenge – Day 2

I want to say a massive thank you to Shivani, Unfashionable Cupcake, My Overflowing Thoughts , Under The Guise Of Glitter and A Teenage Diary Online for nominating me, and if you haven’t checked out their blogs you should because they’re amazing!

Here’s the rules:

  • Thank the person/people who nominated you. Thank you!!
  • Post a quote for three days in a row.Β

Here’s my second quote:

“Sometimes the person you’d take a bullet for is behind the trigger.” – Fall Out Boy, Miss Missing You

Firstly, Fall Out Boy are my my favourite band and it’s the only band my entire family will listen to- so we have all of their CD’s for when we go on road trips. I think it’s amazing that a band can unite a young teenage boy, an older teenage girl, and two middle aged parents. Plus, this quote is pretty powerful. Sometimes the people you stand up for are the ones who will stab you in the back.

  • Nominate three other bloggers each day.Β I’m going to nominate some newer bloggers πŸ™‚
  1. Jess The Crunchy Cat
  2. My Life And A Journal
  3. Perks Of Being Jade

Thank you so much for the nomination, and thank you for reading πŸ™‚

Brotherhood Of The World Bloggers Award!

I want to say a huge thank you to Ashish KumarΒ for nominating me for this award!!

Here’s the rules…

  • Thank and link back to the person who nominated you for the award.Β Thank you so much, you’re awesome!
  • List the Rules and Display the Brotherhood of the world Award logo to your post and/or blog.
  • Answer the questions set to you.Β
  1. What kind of person you are. Introvert, extrovert or ambivert?Β I am such an introvert! I like my room and I like to stay there πŸ˜›
  2. Who is your source of inspiration?Β I get inspiration from everyone around me, but I think my parents and my boyfriend are my main sources of inspiration. My parents have four jobs between them, yet they still find time to spend with me and my brother. They’ve taught me to work hard, and to repsect people and I couldn’t ask for better role models. My boyfriend and I have been through a lot, a lot more than any teenager should go through. Yet he’s still such a strong and truly happy person and I love him for always being there for me (sorry this is so cheesy!).
  3. The most happiest moment of your life.Β I have had so many “perfect” moments but these are my top two that I can remember. The first day I met my boyfriend, it was just so perfect and I knew that I wanted to get to know him better. He walked me to my dad’s car and as we drove home the sun was setting and my favourite song was playing. My second was getting my scholarship into university. I don’t come from a wealthy family so I would have had to get a job during university, but now I can focus on getting the top grades and I am so proud of myself!
  4. What legacy would you like to leave?Β I want people to remember me as being happy and good. I try to make people smile, and to help as many people as possible and I would love to be remembered for this.
  5. What is your most beautiful imagination so far? This is a tough question, and I’m not really sure how to answer it. I have beautiful thoughts about everything, and I see the world in the most beautiful way πŸ™‚
  6. What is your favourite quote?Β I’m a big quote lover so this is one of my favourites: “If there ever comes a day when we can’t be together, keep me in your heart, I’ll stay there forever” – Winnie The Pooh. I think this quote is so cute, and even though everyone reading this has lost someone they love as long as we think of them and remember our love for them they’re never gone.
  7. What are your hobbies other than blogging? There’s a world outside blogging?! But seriously I love running (although I am incredibly slow), and I enjoy reading, and rollerskating has always been something I’ve loved πŸ™‚
  • Nominate around ten other bloggers and let them know about the award.Β Since the majority of people I nominate for awards are female, and since this is the “Brotherhood” Award I’m going to nominate male bloggers for this award.
  1. Stuff Things And Opinions
  2. Matthew Tome
  3. Redefining Random
  4. Guarav Chaplot
  5. Bubbakavangha
  • Β Create your set of questions for your nominees.
  1. What makes you smile, no matter what?
  2. Do you have any nicknames, and if you do how did you get them?
  3. How was your day today?
  4. What was the last movie you watched and what did you think of it?
  5. What sounds can you hear right now?
  6. What is the best compliment you’ve ever got?
  7. What’s your favourite song?

Thank you again for the nomination, and thank you for reading!

Sisterhood of the World Bloggers Award!

Thank you so much to Drifting Lexi for nominating me for this award!! If you haven’t checked out her blog, you need to because she’s awesome!

Here’s the rules…

  • Thank and link the blogger who nominated you.Β A massive thank you to Drifting Lexi!!
  • Answer the questions the nominator has provided.
  1. What makes you motivated to blog? My followers. Hearing from others who are going through the same things I am, and having people tell me my posts make them smile or have helped them makes me want to blog. Plus, I love it! I love interacting with people of all ages, races, sexualities, genders, and religions πŸ™‚
  2. What’s your favourite thing to write about on your blog? I write about so much on my blog, so this is a really hard question! I like writing about things that I’m passionate about, like mental health and human rights etc.
  3. What is your favourite food? I’m such a boring person when it comes to food! I like really bland flavours, so if I cook myself pasta I’ll just have pasta by itself and I can’t eat anything remotely spicy. So this is going to sound really stupid but my favourite food is sweet and salted popcorn. I could eat that for the rest of my life and be happy πŸ˜›
  4. If you had to pick a favourite book, what would it be? Nope. Can’t do it. I love so many books. A book that I’m loving right now though is All The Bright Places by Jennifer Niven. It’s amazing, and I won’t spoil it but I would definitely recommend it!
  5. What was the last song you listened to? I worked last night (I deliver Chinese takeaway with my dad) so we had our favourite Fall Out Boy album on and we were singing to that! The last song I remember was Yule Shoot Your Eye Out, because who doesn’t like singing along to Christmas songs with their dad in the middle of June?
  6. What items are closest to you at this moment? Well my butt is on this incredibly uncomfortable chair, my elbows are on my dining room table (naughty), and my fingers (yup all 10 because that’s how I roll) are on my keyboard. Then all around me I have my junk that I’ve managed to spread all around me, like tons of post-it-notes, all my notes and resources for my tutoring lessons, and my mouse which I have to use because the touchpad on my computer refuses to work 😦
  7. Do you have any tattoos? No, I’m a giant wimp so I doubt I could last through a whole tattoo. Plus, I’m so indecisive I could never decide what i want to be permanently etched into my skin forever!
  8. What are you currently reading? Oops, I already answered this question- All The Bright Places by Jennifer Niven πŸ™‚
  9. Do you prefer going to shops and buying items or do you prefer to shop online? I like going to shops. I like going to charity shops in particular, because some of the stuff I’ve bought there is amazing! But I don’t really shop very often because I still feel really self-conscious and I get very nervous being in large crowds 😦
  10. What are you next looking forward to? Well, my 18th birthday is in just over 2 weeks so that’s pretty cool! I don’t have anything planned, so I think I’m just going to hang out with my family and boyfriend. And it’s my boyfriend’s 20th birthday in just under two weeks and I’m so excited to go shopping with him! I’ve saved up Β£100 to take him on a shopping spree (he doesn’t know this yet) but he hasn’t been able to buy new clothes in a year because money is pretty tight so I’m giving him Β£100 to spend on whatever he wants, it’s going to be amazing!
  • Nominate 10 other bloggers. I’m going to try and find some amazing bloggers who haven’t already been nominated, but I think there are hundreds of bloggers I follow that deserve this award!
